The Cover: I think the cover for Stalemate is very hot! A lot of romance covers I've seen since starting as a book blogger are usually just one person related to the book so I think it's awesome when a couple/the couple of the book are on the cover. It's fun and sexy, A+

Overall thoughts: I really enjoyed Stalemate! I've said this repeatedly in many of my reviews but I think a book becomes more magical and loved when people can relate to it and the story in Stalemate is definitely something both men and women can relate to. The main concern in Stalemate is two people who care for one another but one of them wants to move forward with their relationship and the other is just happy with how things are. It's hard to figure out what to do in a situation when you are at an impasse and I think Suzanne does a great job writing about what happens when a relationship reaches a Stalemate. I really enjoyed reading both points of view from Emme and Axel and I won't post any spoilers, but it's nice to see a character change and grow when reading a book. People change, views change and although it may seem impossible, Stalemates can be figured out.
