There are TONS of choices and books and I highly recommend it! This month I picked out Bombshell! Here are my thoughts:
The Cover: This cover is so STEAMY. Seriously in my opinion, Bombshell has one of the best covers of the year. It screams Hollywood, it screams want and longing and I am in love with this cover. A+ Seriously wowed by it.
Basics: Bombshell was released on May 1st 2017, published by Montlake Romance and is 366 pages long. Genre wise it is romance and contemporary romance.
Description: Hollywood bad boy Brad Sinclair always gets his way, whether it’s the role he wants or the bikini-clad model he has to have. But when a bombshell gets dropped in his lap in the form of a dimpled five-year-old from a forgotten relationship, he knows his life is about to change forever.
Cara DuMont isn’t exactly thrilled when she gets assigned to be the nanny for the latest box-office king. She has one rule: no celebrity fathers, especially single ones with devilish good looks and rock-hard abs.
But as soon as Cara meets Brad and his adorable little girl, she knows she’s in for a world of trouble. Because there’s something about the way Brad looks at her that makes her believe that some rules are meant to be broken…
Overall thoughts: So I picked out Bombshell without knowing the description or anything about it; I knew vaguely it had to do something with Hollywood and honestly I was intrigued because Hollywood romances are a thing right now. I feel like this type of setting for contemporary romance is popular because let's be honest, Hollywood romances are dramatic, thrilling and they don't always end well. I loved Bombshell's storyline, Brad and Cara are great characters and they make a great couple. However...I wish there was more of chemistry between them and more intimate moments. I felt like there wasn't enough of that for them. There was definitely sexual tension that was great but I just wanted more for Cara and Brad. I also loved the family dynamic of Bombshell because wasn't your typical family or situation and it made the plot interesting. Overall a good contemporary romantic read.
Couple Chemistry Rating: 3/5 Shells
Favorite Quotes: "I wanted him. Impractically, foolishly , shamelessly, I wanted him." -Cara
"You know no woman can resist you. You're not just any woman. You're mine." -Cara and Brad
My Rating: 5/5 Shells

About the Author
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
